Counseling is a relationship.
A relationship where you get to experience care, discovery, and belonging as your whole self, unconditionally.
I believe healing happens in relationship — with ourselves, with others, and with the living world around us.
My practice is rooted in eco-therapy in which I invite the natural world as a guide in co-regulation, reflection, and connection. You will have the space to speak freely, I will listen without judgment, we will learn to let the environment support us wherever it is we may be.
Whether we’re walking in the woods, sharing a park bench, tending to a plant, remembering a meaningful place — maybe from the secure nest of my office, the place I create for you — we can share in joy and sorrow, clarity and confusion, stillness and movement, all of what it means to be alive.
When we slow down, we remember we are part of something larger — this can ease the loneliness, self-criticism, and pressure that often weigh us down. We can experience belonging without having to prove or perform, inviting gentleness, honesty, and new possibilities.
Just as ecosystems thrive in reciprocity, we also thrive when our inner world is held in relationship with the outer one. Connecting to the natural world can help you return to your body, calm your nervous system, and experience feeling more grounded in the present moment. Nature offers metaphors, rhythms, and mirrors that help us understand ourselves more fully. It can remind us of the parts of us that know how to nurture, protect, create, and imagine. These inner resources often emerge more easily when we are attuned with the living world, helping us return to a sense of wholeness and balance.
Witnessing cycles of growth, decay, and renewal can reveal layers to your own unique experiences of loss, change, or growth. We might return and revisit the same piece of trail, feel the texture of the forest’s understory, wait for and witness a leaf’s unfurling, attune to the light, notice what changes, what endures — the steady act of relating. It can open up a sense of meaning and belonging that carries beyond our sessions and into your daily life.
By turning together toward the wholeness within you — your capacity to care deeply, to play and create, to find clarity, and to imagine new possibilities — our work can support you in living a life that feels authentic, connected, and sustaining.
Working Together
So you can make informed
decisions about your care.
-
$150 per 60-minute session
$225 per 90-minute session
I set my fees based on business and living expenses, my education, training, and experience; and my desire to offer discounted or pro-bono services to those who need it.
When you pay my full rate, you are not only supporting my livelihood and work, you’re also helping someone else who receives services who would otherwise not be able to access this kind of support.
I offer a limited number of discounted sessions to clients experiencing financial difficulty, and are dedicated to the counseling process and interested in ongoing work together.
Please contact me for specific availability.

We all deserve to discover belonging.
I offer nature-based sessions at public parks in the Portland-area including Cathedral Park, Forest Park, Hoyt Arboretum, and Tryon Creek. Each space has natural trails, paved pathways, and benches to share.
I have an office in the St. Johns neighborhood, full of plants, natural light, and sheltered from the elements, where we might meet — that’s entirely up to you. Unfortunately this specific space requires travel up a long flight of stairs and is not currently ADA accessible.
Please let me know if you have questions about what sessions might look like or ask of your body, I want to make it possible to work together if it’s a good fit.

I do not accept insurance. Please feel free to ask me about this decision.
I am an out-of-network provider which means I can prepare a monthly superbill. A superbill is a receipt for counseling services that you submit to your insurance company for full or partial reimbursement of your out-of-pocket costs.
If you would like to explore this option, please let me know at the start of our work together.

When you commit to a regular session, I reserve that time specifically for you, making it inaccessible to others.
To cancel your appointment, please confirm with me 48-hours in advance of our scheduled session. Cancellations made after that time and no-shows will be charged the full session fee.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including counseling services.
Under the law, I will provide you with an estimate of the cost of our work together. You can ask me for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
